2011 Meetings

Valerie Finneran, a 7th Grade special Education teacher was our speaker:

On Thursday, May 27th, 2011,. Valerie Finneran, a 7th Grade special Education teacher at Randolph Middle School, talked about her one week attendance at the Honeywell Educators Space Academy. It provided hands-on teaching workshops and astronaut training and she talked about her Space Academy educational experiences and showed us some of the material that was provided for her classes.

AFA Chapter 195 presented Aerospace Education Awards and elects new officers:

At this meeting, the Lone Eagle of Peapack-Gladstone, and Curtiss-Wright of Fairfield, NJ, CAP Squadrons, each gave a presentation. Afterward, they were each presented Aerospace Education grants from the Arthur Raymond Brooks Scholarship Fund. In addition, officer elections were held for the new fiscal year, October 1st, 2010 to September 31st, 2011.

Col Amos Chalif, USAF, ret., presents a $500.00 Aerospace Education grant to 1st Lt. Anthony Vinci, squadron commander, Curtiss-Wright Composite Squadron, from the Arthur Raymond B rooks Scholarship Fund.
